About Tess

Tess is a mom, life coach, writer, reader, belly dancer, and much more. She loves to see how words and phrases can build different possibilities and used Legos to teach middle school students the versatility of language. She has a bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University in Communication Studies with a minor in Technical Writing and a master's degree from Full Sail University in Creative Writing for the Entertainment Industry specializing in film.

She was on staff at FenCon, a fan-operated science fiction and fantasy literary and filk convention in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. She also contributes to The Belly Dance Chronicles Magazine, a publication promoting not just the ancient art of Middle Eastern Dance, but celebrating its defining history, the exciting changes of the present, and the creative dreams of the future.

She is currently working on a live-action film script, non-fiction and fiction books, and more.
